LIVING WATER

Greetings: to one and all on this rainy day, it sure has been coming down here in this area where I live. But all of the farmers around sure do love getting a lot of rain.
Well, now to get on with my post. This will be a Christian oriented post. One designed to be helpful to those who are Christian’s but as of yet, they seem to have lost any spiritual zap that they may have once had. Or then, putting what I’m saying in an all together different way: Their spiritual life, has about got up and gone off and left them. That is of course, if they ever did have any to begin with.

If you’re ok within this area that I’m speaking on don’t be offended by this message, for it sure is a needful message for many out there. True: I fully know, even for many who will need this it will just simply go over some of the peoples head. So, I send this out for the benefit of those who will be helped by these few words.

When a person accepts Jesus as both Lord, and Savior, the spirit of God moves within your heart. This too, you can be well assured is not just a religious figure of speech. I truly don’t waste my time on such myself. This is a workable truth that has been confirmed by millions of people down through time. We’re living in a time now wherein many are being so confused by so many things, so as many of them don’t know what to believe and what not to believe.

I’ll waste no more time with this kind of chattering though. Now to get to what I’m talking about. Subject: “The Living Water.” Now, what kind of foolishness are you getting into here? This my dear friend is not foolishness; this also is not just vain word’s that Jesus is speaking:

John 4:7-16 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink. (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.) Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw. Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.

That was then and this is now…yes, we all quite well understand all of this. This statement made by Jesus is just as true and effective, therefore in force today as it was when Jesus walked the earth.

You receive this blessing by getting off to yourself, or with other Christians who are also likeminded, and just spend some quality time just praising the Lord, singing, hem’s, and reading psalms, and just making melodies within your heart unto him, from the deepest depths of your innermost being. Also do this with expectation of it happening. If you'll stay with this: with also trusting and never doubting, it will happen. For some It may take much longer than with others. Though, since our God has no respect of persons, it will happen if your stick to it holds out.

Much love, your brother in Christ Jesus

Bill.
